Piezo-material/polymer composites have many advantages over electro-mechanical coupling. However, since single crys-tal has higher electrical impedance than PZT ceramics, monolayer single crystal/polymer composites are not applicable
to transducers.

Multilayer single crystal/polymer composites have superior properties and Humanscan has introduced world first single
crystal/polymer composite and multilayer single crystal/polymer composite transducers simultaneously.
